TVS Flame SR 125
The TVS team in collaboration with the AVL company of Austria has developed this engine for TVS Flame SR125.The flame SR125 is powered up with a three valve, Controlled Combustion Variable Timing Intelligent ( CC-VTi ) engine which gives out a combination of power and mileage.The engine is tuned to the ideal tumble-swirl port combination which reduces the need for constant gear shifting while driving and returns high mileage.The TVS Flame is one of the recently launched most attractive bike in its segment.The introduction of TVS Flame 125 replaces the Victor 125CC.TVS is now producing two wheelers independently.The new TVS Flame has a delta edge theme which is seen in fighter planes.
The new TVS Flame SR125 is the upgraded version of TVS Flame 125 which was launched in 2007.The 125cc bikes are somewhat popular in India these days and all the top companies have made their presence in this class.The TVS Flame SR125 is a powerful competitor for Bajaj discover 125 cc,Hero Honda Glamor, Honda Shine,Hero Honda Splendor, Suzuki Seus, and Yamaha Gladiator.The main exterior changes includes wider rear tyre, new graphics, two positioned head lamps, embedded turn signal lamps and front disc brakes.The digital console displays intelligent mileage indicator ( IMI ),service indicator and low fuel warning,
Similar to Bajaj’s DTS-i , Tvs’s CC-VTi engine is ignited by two spark plugs located in opposite sides of the cylinder where combustion takes place.This made a legal battle between Bajaj and TVS as Bajaj .The main features includes electric start, alloy wheels, wide rear tyre etc.The first time LCD digital speedometer in 125cc segment.There is no tachometer for the Flame SR125.The head lamp , front fender, rear view mirrors, body colored shock absorbers and the engine crowl has been borrowed from the TVS Apache.
ENGINE
TVS Flame SR125 has a 4-stroke CC-VTi 3-valve 4 stroke engine with a displacement of 124.8 cc
The maximum power produced is 10.5 bhp at 7500 rpm.The carburetor type is ucal Mikuni VM20.
TVS Flame 125 makes a top speed of 95 kmph.Maximum torque is 10nm @ 6000 rpm.

EXTERIOR
The 240 mm front disk break provides more security for the riders.The chic triangular exhaust maintains more power and smooth sound with minimum emission for the TVS Flame 125.
TVS Flame is the first motorcycle in India to provide a on-tank storage gadget- boot.
TVS Flame is made up with delta edge head lamps, delta edge exhaust, and the tank embedded with delta edge trafficatros completes its delta edge theme.The TVS Flame 125 is styled up with exciting dual tone colors and graphics.It has an LCD digital console with speedometer, odometer, digital clock, fuel gauge,and mileage meter.The tail lamp is made to accommodate dual lens.
SPECIFICATION
The front wheel is 90/90 X 17/2.75 X 18 and the rear wheel of flame is 100/90 X 17/3.00 X 18.
