German based Volkswagen Group is currently the 3rd largest auto mobile manufacturer in the World .Volkswagen Group includes subsidiary brands like Audi ,Skoda ,Bentley and Lamborghini . In India , the group brands owns separate showrooms and operate on separate marketing strategy . Group brands like Skoda ,Volkswagen and Audi brands already made their footprints in India and they have established and integrated manufacturing plant on Pune and Aurangabad . Among which Skoda is pretty popular due to their comparatively low cost family cars like Laura and Superb and also the premium hatchback Fabia .The latest Indian model is Skoda Superb ,which was released on march 2009 .Skoda Superb shares the same platform of Volkswagen Passat . The model offers three variants on The 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol, 3.6-litre V6 petrol and a 2.0-litre turbo diesel coupled with Skoda’s seven-speed DSG gearbox .
