Bharat stage IV emission regulations will come into existence in 11 Indian cities including Mumbai ,Delhi , Bangalore and Chennai by the beginning of year 2010 .Mitsubishi’s new Outlander 2009 is already BS IV compliant ,and is first Indian premium SUV to achieve this level of emission control .Innovative valve lift and timing electronic control of 2.4 litre 4 cylinder 168 bhp petrol engine in Mitsubishi Outlander 2009 helped it to gain the label of first Eco friendly SUV in India . Mitsubishi Outlander was first brought to Indian market in 2008 . This SUV is built in Lancer platform and has already got critical acclimation for ts offroading capabilities power ,riding comfort and handling .
