After the announcement in 1993, Fiat launched the first version of Punto in 1994. The new replacement for UNO was stylish in its design. Pricing of the new model was also competitive. Punto released in 1994 could compete with Opel Corsa and Volkswagen polo. Soon the new Punto became the loved one of the people of European countries.
