Skoda plans to launch their new multi-functional vehicle Yeti a compact SUV. The Skoda Yeti , is a 4.2 meter long 5-door hatch and is supposed to be launched at the 2010 .The Skoda Yeti borrows features from the Skoda Roomster and the VW’s Golf-based Tiguan SUV. The Skoda Yeti is said to have the transmission and brakes of the roomster, and the suspension of the Skoda Fabia.Yeti will line up with two gasoline powered and three diesel powered engines.all the three diesel units are common-rail.the prices in UK ranges from £13,750 to £22,120.

The entry level is Yeti E priced £13,750 , is a front wheel drive with a 1.2 TSI or the 2.0 TDI CR 110hp diesel engines. Air con,remote central locking ,air bags(six numbers),sound system with single CD player, 16″ wheels,and front windows.
The yeti s,starts from £14,250 with front wheel or four wheel drive with a choice of four engines starting from 1.2 TSI @ 105bhp which is a dual clutch DSG transmission.its available in manual and DSG transmission.The accessories include 16″alloy wheels,front fog lights,rear electric windows,and drivers knee air bag.
Yeti SE starts at £15,650 is available in front and four wheel drive. 1.2L TSI 105bhp and 2.0 TDI CR 140bhp are the engine choices.dual zone air conditioning,cruise control,integrated touch screen 6-CD player,rear parking sensors,17″alloy wheels are the additions.
The top model of skoda Yeti is Yeti elegance is priced at £17,600 .it is available in five engine choices including 2.0 TDI CR 170bhp 4×4.Additions include off-road button with 4×4 transmission, ESP, heated front seat,bi-xenon headlights with cornering function,full leather upholstery and rain sensor windscreen wipers.

I am waiting eagerly to get my hands on the SKODA YETI. But no one in SKODA India is able to tell me the probable time of release of YETI in India. DO u have any clue on this
