Spark is actually a rebranded version of Daewoo Matiz which was lunched in India along with Hyundai Santro .Santro survived , but Matiz disappeared from Indian markets with bankruptcy of its parent company in Korea . The same Matiz was launched as Chevrolet Spark after the takeover of Daewoo motors by GM .
