Volkswagen finally announced the price of the sedan version of VW Polo, the Volkswagen Vento in India. One of the major disadvantages with POLO was the limited leg room space at the back side and lack of much luxury. The Volkswagen Vento has considerably larger space, better interior and improved engine specifications when compared with the Polo. The Volkswagen Vento is designed and kept in a price range that would make stiff competition for Maruti Susuki Dezire, Honda City and Hyundai Verna Transform and other sedan car models in its class. The Vento is the only sedan model of the luxury car maker available under a price of 10 lakh in India.

Honda Siel Cars India limited launched an upgraded version of Jazz, the Honda Jazz X in India. The major difference between existing Jazz model and new Jazz X is the addition of several and interior and exterior luxuries to justify its high price. Honda Jazz is currently the highest priced hatchback model in India. The original Honda Jazz was launched in 2009 with many exceptions, but failed to meet customer base due to the price aspect as well as the limited availability of additional facilities. The Honda Jazz X will be added to existing lineup that includes Jazz and Jazz select models.

Maruti Yesterday announced an upgrade to the veteran Alto model in India. Maruti comes with K-series engine that is used in Maruti Estilo and Maruti Wagon R 2010. The new Alto K10 is the powerful version of existing Alto variants in India. The pickup and performance of the old Alto were not up-to the mark, although it does well for its price. Things have changed a lot in these years. Now there are a lot of car models in India and people are ready spend more  for their machine. One of the main reasons why people consider Alto is its mileage. The new Alto K10 maintains its mileage  around 20 kmpl  without affecting it on the performance.
