Hyundai i10 common rail diesel.After the huge success of Hyundai i10 and Hyundai i20 they are launching the diesel version of i10.The i10 diesel will be launched in early 2010.The common rail diesel i10 will be having two variants 1.4litre CRDi and 1.1 litre CRDi engine.The 1.4 litre diesel model kicks out 88 bhp which is enough to bring it to the top of its class.The 1.1L CRDi will be producing around 70 bhp which is ample.These models are supposed to give out improved drivability and improved fuel efficiency.The i10 diesel will have a slightly increased price , 20%-25% more than the petrol model of Hyundai i10.The first model of i10 was launched in 2007 and till this time the Hyundai motors had a sale of more than 3lakh units all over the world. Maruti Suzuki recently tested its new model of Maruti Swift in ice inorder to prepare it to launch in 2010 Paris Motor Show.There is not much change expected but some changes in the basic design to give it a fresh look can happen.Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the largest selling hatchback in India and hence Maruti Suzuki will not be ready to give a complete change in the appearance.The modifications in the new Swift includes a new set of headlamps, front grille, front and rear bumpers and taillamps which all will give more style than the existing version.It is also expected to have little changes in the size which will give more space inside which is very essential as many other car in the same segment now comes with more spacious inside to give more passenger comfort.A change in engine with a more powerful engine which produces 90 bhp or more is expected in petrol version and an engine with 80 bhp is expected in diesel varsion.
