Mahindra Xylo is simply the best vehicle ever. It is a vehicle for the highways and for the long continuous drives. Nowadays I am heraing the Xylo all over Limca book of records. First it broke the fastest time record from India’s west to east in 85 hours. Then it broke the south to North record also in 73 hours. Only Xylo is capable of doing this records. I don’t think other cars are so strong for Indian roads.

the xylo rangs is from 6-8 lacs only!

My husband bought a Mahindra Xylo and surprised me yesterday. I love the vehicle. It has the smoothest drive compared to all the cars I have sat in.
There was a lot of specultion about Xylo’s safety features as it had a lot of Body Roll and didn’t have adequate braking.
Now Xylo has ABS and there is also going to be Airbags for Xylo soon. I think Xylo is a beautiful vehicle with an engine that has fantastic response and suspension that literally irons out potholes and speed breakers. With introduction of ABS and Air Bags, it is the safest vehicle to drive. It is truely a performance vehicle.

Xylo is definitely the talk of the town now, as the features and other things like the engine, mileage and the major part the price of the vehicle,
i mean giving the number of features available in the xylo which are almost the same as in the innova, even then the xylo costs some 1.5 lakhs less than the innova,
the only drawback the car had in it was the lack of airbags for such a vehicle, which was lately solved by introducing airbags for the xylo E8 variant.
I own a Mahindra Xylo and find it is worth for the price. If Mahindra can upgrade all variants with ABS, Air Bags, steel logo, grill, good quality floor mats, etc., it is the safer vehicle to drive in highways. If Automatic transmission introduced it is a wonderful family car in city/highways.

I own a Mahindra Xylo E6 model. I bought the vehicle in Feb 09 and at that time there was no ABS across any variant.
Now can I fit ABS in my Xylo and would the performance be the same compared to that of a factory fitted one?
i have recently bought a xylo e 8 abs and the car is superb in its drive quality, the driver seating is very good and ever since i have got it i like to drive it better than the esteem, skoda vrs and the accent . the only thing agaist is the mahinra people have used the cheapest plastic finish for the interiors, the door handels from inside are very tacky and i hope they dont break or comeoff. the engine is smooth and the hvac fantastic i have used a xylo in the forests of kanha and it is impresive, the captain seats are perfect for long drives and i think overall the car is not at all disappointing it took me a year to come to terms with the looks of the car but otherwise its perfect.
