Bajaj is all set to release their new bike, Discover DTSi 100 cc on July 27th. Currently, Bajaj is not much focused on 100 cc market. The entry level motor cycle Platina is doing good business in 100 CC segment. However, there is no bike in mid range business class series where TVS Victor, Splendor, Passion Plus, etc. competes. Discover 100 cc will be powered by Bajaj’s revolutionary DTSi technology and will be with a new combustion engine. It will be the first 100 cc bike to include five speed transmission. The engine is expected to deliver 7.7 PS @ 7500 rpm. Currently, 100 cc is the most active bike segment in India in case of sales. So Bajaj had taken extreme care on the design, specification and price tag of Discover DTSi 100cc. The standard model of the vehicle will include alloy wheels, electric start auto chock, etc .
Bajaj Discover DTSi 100 CC
Included DTSi technology in Discover 100cc has improved the total performance and mileage of the bike. It is expected that it would provide 90 kmpl on standard conditions. This mileage is far better when compared with other 100cc motor bikes, which usually provides in the range of 60-65 kmpl. As per Sridhar, Bajaj Auto CEO for two-wheelers, Discover DTSi 100cc will upgrade the 100cc customer to the performance level of a 125cc bike. This machine is designed specially for business personals and others who travel more than 50-100 km per day.
Bajaj Discover DTSi 100 cc will be available on five colors Black Red, Black Green, Black Blue, Red and Blue. It will be priced in between Platina and Bajaj XCD 125, exactly around 43,000 (ex- showroom). Chakan plant of Bajaj will manufacture Discover 100cc DTS-i motorcycle and will be pushed into the market on early August.
Bajaj Discover 100 CC specifications: 94.38 CC, 7.7 bhp@7500 rpm, 7.8rpm@6500, 5 gears, 90 kmpl, Alloy Wheels and Disc brakes optional.
EX Showroom price: 43605/-
On-Road price: 46500/- approximately.

I am Plannig to buy a new Bajaj discover100cc but I heard that there is serious problem with that bike as the wires (like clutch wire and main wire) tend to diminish soon and they are costly to buy new parts.Is it a fact really?
Please let my above query get resolved and further to that I would like to know its price in Hyderabad and the mileage it gives on normal traffic road.

hi frnds if u all want to buy dtsi 100 cc bike than i suggest all of you to go for this bike as im still using very old bike of bajaj’s, kb125 97 model in well maintained condition the only drawback of bajaj is they stop the production any time but as im also going to change my bike and definitely i buy this dtsi 100 cc according to me this bike is having all the specialites no (-) point like look,average,5 gears. As im using 125 cc bike still now only the problem with my bike is his original spare parts i dont know why bajaj stop the production of bajaj kb but all my frnds u can buy this dtsi bike……………..
