Bajaj is all set to release their new bike, Discover DTSi 100 cc on July 27th. Currently, Bajaj is not much focused on 100 cc market. The entry level motor cycle Platina is doing good business in 100 CC segment. However, there is no bike in mid range business class series where TVS Victor, Splendor, Passion Plus, etc. competes. Discover 100 cc will be powered by Bajaj’s revolutionary DTSi technology and will be with a new combustion engine. It will be the first 100 cc bike to include five speed transmission. The engine is expected to deliver 7.7 PS @ 7500 rpm. Currently, 100 cc is the most active bike segment in India in case of sales. So Bajaj had taken extreme care on the design, specification and price tag of Discover DTSi 100cc. The standard model of the vehicle will include alloy wheels, electric start auto chock, etc .

Included DTSi technology in Discover 100cc has improved the total performance and mileage of the bike. It is expected that it would provide 90 kmpl on standard conditions. This mileage is far better when compared with other 100cc motor bikes, which usually provides in the range of 60-65 kmpl. As per Sridhar, Bajaj Auto CEO for two-wheelers, Discover DTSi 100cc will upgrade the 100cc customer to the performance level of a 125cc bike. This machine is designed specially for business personals and others who travel more than 50-100 km per day.
Bajaj Discover DTSi 100 cc will be available on five colors Black Red, Black Green, Black Blue, Red and Blue. It will be priced in between Platina and Bajaj XCD 125, exactly around 43,000 (ex- showroom). Chakan plant of Bajaj will manufacture Discover 100cc DTS-i motorcycle and will be pushed into the market on early August.
Bajaj Discover 100 CC specifications: 94.38 CC, 7.7 bhp@7500 rpm, 7.8rpm@6500, 5 gears, 90 kmpl, Alloy Wheels and Disc brakes optional.

On-Road price: 46500/- approximately.

Hi, I have bought Discover DTSi-100 6months before Net on-road price was Rs.50200/-… Really Im exiting with my bike giving me such a big satisfaction in all level…
First I want to say you all that we should treat our bike as a child, we have to maintain our bike properly as per our manual in speed limit, use of break, service period, etc.,
Mind that our bike always come to showroom after checking and confirming the goods OK(particularly mechanical functions), hence it won’t get problem untill we using it improperly…
Also, get some advises and instructions from the demonstrators while buying a new bike and should follow them strictly…
Finally I feel proudly to say this that my bike giving me such a best mileage in city 66kms/ltr and in highways 86kms/ltr(Im living in chennai, im always using my bike to go my native which is far upto 150kms from chennai)
